At the beginning of April, employees of Temple Lifts took a break from maintaining lifts to take part in the London Bridges Walk, in aid of our current company charity, the Sturge-Weber Foundation.
Established in 1990, the charity aims to support sufferers of Sturge-Weber syndrome and their families. Although fairly rare, SWS still affects hundreds of people across the country, mainly children. These sufferers need all the help they can get, and Temple Lifts are only too happy to do our bit.
The gruelling London Bridges Walk took our employees along the Thames from Vauxhall to Tower Bridge. In the end, aside from a few blisters, the team earned over £1000 for the Sturge-Weber Foundation.
